Teer Today Live is not just a lottery; it is a centuries-old cultural heritage of Meghalaya. The word "Teer" is derived from Hindi meaning "Arrow". The game is officially known as Shillong Teer or Meghalaya Teer. It is the only archery-based legal lottery in India, governed by the Khasi Hills Archery Sports Association (KHASA) under the Meghalaya Amusement and Betting Tax Act. Our portal teertoday.live was created to provide the fastest, most accurate, and authentic Shillong Teer Result Live, Khanapara Teer Result, Juwai Teer Result, and all related information like Common Numbers, Previous Results, Dream Numbers, and Teer Calendar at one place. Every day thousands of players from Meghalaya, Assam, West Bengal and across India visit Teer Today Live for instant updates.
The origin of archery in Meghalaya goes back to the 12th century. For the Khasi tribe, archery was not a sport but a means of survival - for hunting, self-defense, and warfare. The bow and arrow were considered sacred. In the early 1980s, the Government of Meghalaya recognized the potential of this traditional skill and decided to legalize it as a regulated betting sport to generate revenue and preserve tribal culture. The first organized Teer betting started at the Polo Ground, Shillong. Initially, only 5 archery clubs were involved, now there are 12 clubs. This move not only saved the dying art of traditional archery but also created employment for thousands of archers. Today, Teer is a symbol of pride for Meghalaya and is played 6 days a week, from Monday to Saturday. Sunday is a holiday for all Teer counters.
The game is very simple yet scientific. The entire process is transparent and conducted in public.
Step 1: The Archers: 50 professional archers (members of KHASA) stand at a distance of about 15.21 meters (50 feet) from the cylindrical bamboo target which is about 61 cm to 102 cm in height.
Step 2: The Shooting: First Round (F/R) - Each archer gets 30 arrows to shoot. They have to shoot within 4 minutes. Second Round (S/R) - Each archer gets 20 arrows to shoot within 3 minutes.
Step 3: The Counting: After shooting, officials count the total number of arrows that have hit the target. Let's say in F/R, total 1,783 arrows hit. The result will be the last two digits - 83. So F/R result is 83. Same for S/R.
Step 4: The Betting: Players can bet from Re. 1 to Rs. 100 per ticket. If you bet on F/R and your number matches, you win Rs. 80 for every Re. 1. If you bet on S/R, you win Rs. 60 for every Re. 1. If you bet on both and win both (called Fourcast), you win Rs. 4000 for every Re. 1.
Punctuality is the key of Teer. Our website updates results faster than any other site.
Note: Teer is closed on Sundays and on Government holidays and during festivals like Good Friday, etc.
Common Number is the heart of Teer prediction. It is not a random guess. Our expert team calculates Common Numbers using 3 formulas: (a) Mathematical Formula - using previous 5 days results, (b) House | Ending Calculation, and (c) Dream Interpretation. We provide Direct Numbers (like 28, 39), House (the first digit, like 3) and Ending (the last digit, like 4). We update two sets of Common Numbers - one for F/R and one for S/R. We also provide a Today Target range (e.g., 31 to 80) which is the most probable range where the result will fall. These numbers are 100% free for our visitors.
Professional Teer players never play without checking Previous Results. The game of Teer has patterns. A number that came yesterday has less chance to come today. A House that has not come for 5 days has high probability. Our Previous Result 30 Days chart helps you analyze: Which Ending is hot? Which House is sleeping? Which Direct numbers are repeating? This data is crucial for making a successful prediction. We archive results for the last 2 years. You can also download our Teer Calendar which shows monthly results in a single view.
This is the most fascinating part of Teer culture. In Meghalaya, people believe that God talks to you through dreams, and every dream has a hidden Teer number. This belief is so strong that there are books published on dream meanings. Our Dream Number list is the most comprehensive on the internet. For example:
Snake = 17, 37, 57, Tiger = 9, Police = 87, Money = 00, 14, 15, Eating = 01, 02, God = 09, Temple = 1, 2, 9, Child = 2, 3, Elephant = 9, Horse = 8, Dog = 4, 5, 6, Cow = 4, Bird = 2, Ghost = 52, 62, 68. We have categorized it into Direct, House, and Ending. We have added a Search Bar so you can instantly find your dream. If you saw a snake in your dream last night, just search "Snake" and you will get the number to play today. This tradition connects spirituality with the game.
Many new players get confused. Shillong Teer is the main game played at Polo Ground, Shillong. Khanapara Teer is played at Themmar, Ri-Bhoi district, which is on the border of Guwahati, Assam. So it is popularly called Assam Teer. The rules are same but results are different. Juwai Teer is played in Jowai town and is known for being more unpredictable. Morning Teer is another variant. On TeerToday.Live, we provide results for all of them separately so you don't get confused.
